A large species for Automeris. Very fine moths and attractive larvae with branched spines.Larvae feed on Bramble, Laurel, Evergreen Oak and other Oaks, Willows, Apple, Plum, Hawthorn and Beech.

Most Automeris larvae feed on a wide variety of trees, so try others and add to the list of foodplants.
